DESCRIPTION
The affairs of two troubled families in a commuter village become entwined when Richard Garnett is drawn into an unlikely friendship with his elderly neighbour, Marigold Crispin. He's on hand when her house is burgled, but not when an intruder with more serious intentions gains access to the house.
