I read this book for the second time recently. I remember when Orwell set the record straight about how he wrote the book. In the moment we are living in now, I thought it appropriate to read his account of fighting fascism, but with his passing of time references since he first published it. The book hit hard with his descriptions of the fighting in the streets of Barcelona and the the invitation to become extreme also, in the face of extremism. It was a stark reminder to have a purpose when we resist powerthat is related to what your fighting for, not just what your fighting against. Now I want to reread his later works with the same new perspective.

Ea h card has stunning art that feels so nostalgic. Yes, it follows a typical RWS deck but if you purchased only for the art - it would be worth it.
