Revival Type: Digital Typefaces Inspired by the Past

Revival Type is a collection of digital fonts with origins in the past. Examples include translations of inscriptional, calligraphic or written letterforms that have never existed as type before. Others are direct revivals of metal and wood typefaces, and still others are looser interpretations of older typefaces.
