I Know that My Redeemer Lives

When President Russell M. Nelson bore this testimony in the Rome Italy Temple Youth Devotional, he was doing what all the Presidents of the Church had done before him. As a prophet of God, he bore witness of our Lord and Savior. From Joseph Smith on, the latter-day prophets have all proclaimed that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God. Unlike other testators, they have spoken from a unique position, as personal witnesses with a personal knowledge of the Savior and as leaders of the Lord's Church, working under His direction.

I Know That My Redeemer Lives presents some of their most important teachings, testimonies, visions, and insights about the Redeemer. Thousands of sources were reviewed in compiling the book, and the most representative passages on Jesus Christ for each prophet were selected. Included in the sources examined were general conference talks, the Journal of Discourses, Church magazines, and material from the Church Archives.
