I’ve read this book a couple of times now, and each re-read makes me appreciate and notice things from different perspectives and angles. It’s a bit of a slow burn with a lot of descriptive technobabble, however, don’t let that deter you from the story! The ending leaves you wanting more, but also leaves plenty open to the imagination of the human mind. Overall a fantastic read!
The book was kind of hard to find at first, but them someone helped me find it. I gave the book to a friend for her birthday. I was kind of in a hurry to get it because I was going on a trip, but it was nice that I was able to have someone help me find the book I wanted. Though, I would recommend explaining or improving the search process for books, because I was confused. I would also love it if there was a songbook section (if there is I haven’t seen it yet) so that way I can see if I can find any old LDS hymnals or good saxophone songbooks.
I've been reading short story anthologies for years and fall asleep. I started the Lunar Chronicles and cannot put them down - have stayed up late reading and have to stop myself to go to sleep! Really love the fairy tale, futuristic sci-fi combo.
Read it for school, I thought it was pretty good. Picked it up just for pleasure and very much enjoyed rereading the book
This is the text the professor recommended for the class I am taking, History of Color. This book is perfect!
My grandson is so engaged with this book that he will sit at least 20 minutes looking, talking, and singing "Old McDonald", and he is only two.
The TMC is back in this fourth book to solve the murder of someone much closer to home for the four. They are good fun and hilarious as always, and in this book things get quite serious to a point that in a series that usually makes me laugh actually made me cry in a doctor's office. Do pick it up for a read!
My daughter's Bible showed up all bent up because shipping package. For over 30 dollars I would have thought it would have been boxed and protected
I first read this book in 8th grade, I never was a huge fan of reading, but now I truly believe that nobody hates reading, your just haven't found YOUR book. Words can't describe how connected I am with Kafkas art, and I hope my review encourages others to explore his work!
Best bookstore and best staff in Salt Lake City.
This is more of a review about my experience at Marissa’s. 5/5! I love the selection at this store. No one else locally had a copy of Coming Up for Air. Love supporting a local business!
The book came very quickly and is in excellent condition. I really appreciate the prompt customer service!
They look very nice. There is discoloration on the sides of the pages due to the band and the pages are a bit thin.
I'm quite excited to read these books as I have enjoyed the previous three in the series so far! 😃 I was expecting my delivery next week, not the next day! 😯
Unique book that you had to read the ending twice before you realized what really happened. Spooky and never dull!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that made me laugh out loud, but Dungeon Crawler Carl had me cackling every time I turned the page. It’s so refreshing to read something with humor that doesn’t remind me of quirky millennial humor, but rather cuts deep into humor that feels like my best friend just made me laugh. And, as a cat person whose husband’s name is Carl, I couldn’t help but feel like the whole story was incredibly endearing. I’m recommending this to everyone I know! Can’t wait to read the next one.
The best and cutest bookstore i e evwr been in! I left with 6 books and had to be drug out! Has one of the most extensive collections of books ive ever seen!
I was looking for something to give to a new father for Father's Day. This book was perfect.
